Through
the use of vivid color and bold lines, I am attempting to capture the sensual
intensity inherent in all women. The puzzle like pattern represents human complexity,
symbolizing how many individual pieces come together to create a whole.
The women are
painted without hair or distinct facial features in an attempt to create a more
universal, inclusive feel, thereby acting as a mirror as opposed to a window.
It is my belief that this body of work reflects a raw, intrinsic kaleidoscope
of sensuality present in every woman.
